It’s 11.25pm. By the time I finish writing this post, it would probably be 15 mins to 12am — which comes Monday; the most dreaded day of my week. Why you may ask? …ermm, coz I don’t want to work AND I want to be on a vacation. It IS the end of the year. I should be on some beach, relaxing my brains and hopefully having a hell of a time with someone I love (yes, I’m dreaming).
But yea… back to what Monday does to me. It makes me feel as though time is not moving — Yes, you heard me, NOT moving. It makes me want to go home; when the clock on my laptop is only showing 10.30am — that’s like only 2 and 1/2 hours into work! I can’t wait for Friday to come at 12pm on Monday. By 1pm, I have every urge in my body to just walk out of the office (and must I say, I DO have the priviledge to do so… in some ways…
).
…wait. Hang on a min! I feel like this almost everyday! *gasp* AHA! A sign that the job you’re in is no longer working out for you. tsk tsk tsk. Hence, there are really 2 solutions to it; 1) quit your job OR 2) go on a vacation. With the economics being oh-so-very-depressing, I’ll got for 2) first. Then 1).
Going on a vacation… I think I’ve said that for longest time I can ever imagine. Longest. And so, I’m extremely pumped up to ensure that I get myself to any of those relaxing places to relax the crap out of myself! I need a destination. A place where I can just lay down on the sandy beaches and not look at my work laptop for a couple of days… no phone calls… no nothing. Ahhh… Heaven.
Monday. I’m dreading the weeks to come. I’ll be off to motherland again… in 2 weeks. The only good part of it is — it’s winter… it’s cold and I like the weather cold. Cold is good. Monday.
p/s: come to think of it, Wii isn’t all that fun after all. I’m still in full support of PlayStation!
