I’m back! It sure feels good to be home again. Stopping by at HongKong was fun as usual. Let’s see what I have to share this time…
First up, desserts. When I was in Shanghai earlier that week, I decided to try the very famous 楊枝金露 dessert (It’s suppose to be a dessert made out of fresh mangoes, grapefruits and sago, served with fine ice). I usually have it in HongKong, but I thought… what the heck – why not give it a try. It was definitely disappointing as it sucks (I don’t usually complain about food but if it’s sucky to me… it’s bad).
Upon arrival at HongKong, I told my aunt that I have this NEED to go have my 楊枝金露, as a replacement to the sucky one I had in Shanghai. I was a happy gal after downing that bowl of 楊枝金露. We had some mango pancakes as well. Aunt chose to have some teowchew almond dessert thing – not my kind of dessert though.

Btw, name of the place, 發記甜品. If you happen to be in HongKong, remember to pay this shop a visit.
My next excitement — in search of the Onitsuka Tiger shop at the Elements shopping mall. This Onitsuka Tiger store is huge.
My aunt and I each bought a pair. She got the Ultimate Tiger while I got myself a Mexico 66 (Check out the onitsukatiger website for more details). Someone was right! The shoe is soooo comfy, it actually felt like you’re walking on… air. I think it beats Nike Air, anytime! *teehee* It’s rather pricy but I think it’s worth the buy.

After our little shoe-shopping, my aunt looks at me and say, “We have to pay the toilet a visit. You just HAVE to see the toilet. One toilet is worth HKD1million”. Yes, HKD1million. According to my aunt, the lady that designed this building said that the cleanliness of all the toilets in the shopping mall in HongKong is not up to standard. This one according to the lady, will definitely set the standard for “CLEAN TOILETS”. No pictures though – I don’t want to be labeled crazy yet.
An accidental excitement was found at the Muji store opposite where my aunt stays. I’ve been in search of the cotton jersey type beddings. I was all disappointed a couple of months ago when I was at Aussino in search of that type of bedding and couldn’t find the size that would fit a single bed.
Little did I know, they were selling it a Muji — and it’s fancier and nicer than the plain ones I saw at Aussino! Whoopeeee!
The material is T-shirt type material. It’s sooooo lovely.
Best part — it’s on sale! *haha*

Now, how can you not love HongKong?
I’ve never gotten over HongKong yet. Not even a bit.
p/s: Don’t even get me started with c!ty plaza — gosh, they have all sorts of stuff; from lomo cameras to lomo accessories, to cool notebooks (moleskine to be in particular).
pp/s: I had Vietnamese food again. Not at Rice Paper — it’s the cheaper one, but I somehow felt it was nicer.
ppp/s: I did thought of heading to Disneyland again — just to submerge myself in that Christmas feel.
Did I tell you I love Christmas?
