Turkey rawks!!
This secular country is filled with nothing but amazing historical sites, beautiful views of the nature, tons of olive trees, and a one-of-a-kind culture. Conclusion — it’s a place everyone should go at least once in their lifetime.
Below is our first ever stop upon arrival at Istanbul, a monument which I sorta forget the name, but a man selling pretzels in the most unique way.

The blue mosque, one of the key landmarks in Turkey. The interior design looks absolutely brilliant.

Pomegranate juices are sold everywhere, including at Segafredo.

Troy! The walls were dated back in 2300 B.C. Woot!

Pegamon, the place of Alexander the Great. There’s even a honeymoon suite of Marc Anthony and Cleopatra located at this very place.

A place that gave us a very sacred feeling — the House of Virgin Mary. It is said to be the final place where Virgin Mary resided with John the Apostle before she passed on. There is even a wishing wall. I stuffed my wishes in that wall as well.

And then there’s this great awesome place, Ephesus of the Roman Empire. The library is still standing strong.

Pamukkale a.k.a Cotton Castle gives nothing but an amazing view of a hill that looks like snow from afar.

I got onto my first ever hot air balloon ride. It was pricey alright, but nonetheless one hell of an experience. The view of the sunrise was so cool that no words could explain it. We weren’t flying solo; there were approximately 30 balloons flying on that very same moment which makes everything even cooler than it already is. After the ride, champagnes were served and a certification of flight were presented to all participants. How cool is that!?

After the balloon ride, it was traveling around Capadoccia. Stopped at a few pictorial spots. The view was just amazing.

The Open Air Musuem was nice.

And then there’s the Underground City. I still haven’t figure out how the people living in this underground city moved about. I banged my head a couple of times when I was in there. Were the people back then that short? I doubt so.

There’s this place with fairy top roofs. It’s not man made mind you. It’s all natural.

On our way to the next town, we stopped by the 2nd largest Salt Lake in the world. I tasted the salt from the ground and yes, it sure is salty.

We went on the Bosphorus cruise when we got back to Istanbul. At some point during the cruise, we were in between Asia and Europe — in no man’s land.
How cool is that!?

Streets and concourse areas in Istanbul looks pretty cool. And clean.

You wouldn’t have visited Turkey if you haven’t been to St Sopya, the first Cathedral which turned into a first ever mosque in Turkey. It’s the one place in the world where symbols of Christianity and Islamic religion come together in the same building.

Met some friendly animals along the trip. There’s this puppy at the Underground City which hannii decided to name him Pepper. He’s absolutely adorable! Then there’s this camel, who’s fur looked pretty coarse, but when touched, it’s softer than any stuffed animals. At one of the hotels, we even woke up to the sound of wood ducks! Pretty cute I must say.

On the final day, we went for a Turkish show — belly dancing. My oh my, those girls sure can dance!! I don’t have good pics of them though. This is what you get without flash. The small tiny one won’t do you any good.
Overall, it was an awesome trip. I’ve heard of how beautiful Turkey is, but you will never really know until you’ve experienced it yourself. It’s an exotic place alright, so if you’re up for it, by all means go for it.
